英国のティム・アトキンMWが「アルゼンチン 特別レポート 2021」を発表し、ウコ・ヴァレーの「グアルタジャリー パー・セ・ウニ・デル・ボネサント・マルベック 2019」（Gualtallary Per Se Uni del Bonnesant Malbec 2019）に南米のワインとして初めて100点を与えた。
アルゼンチン・レポートは今年で9年目。マルベックに加えてセミヨン、シャルドネ、ブレンドなど白ワインを高く評価し、冷涼で乾燥した2019ヴィンテージを「これまで試飲で最高」と太鼓判を押した。110本が95点以上を獲得した。
現地訪問はできなかったが、Zoomで取材し、299軒のワイナリーから1847本のワインを試飲した。「私の最大で、最も包括的なレポート」と語っている
「アルゼンチンの代表的なブドウのマルベックは、どんどん良くなっている。私が南米で初めて100点を与えたワインが、世界的なテロワールで育ったマルベックであるのはぴったり」と語った。
年間最優秀赤ワインに選ばれたパー・セ・ウニ・デル・ボネサント・マルベック 2019は、メンドーサのボデガ「パー・セ」がグアルタジャリーの小区画から100本だけ生産するマルベック。パー・セは、ノートンのチーフワインメーカー、ダヴィド・ボノミと、スサーナ・バルボの栽培担当エディ・デル・ポポロのプロジェクト。
